the eleventh doctor in green
(asked by goldenglassandpurpleskies)
Since then it’s been a book you read in reverse
so you understand less as the pages turn.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice-versa, the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Slip through, ever the thief
is posed to hero -
but we’ll see.
What makes you think I would ever give you back?
Shadows all around you as you surface from the dark,
emerging from the gentle grip of night’s unfolding arms.
Darkness, darkness everywhere, do you feel all alone?
The subtle grace of gravity, the heavy weight of stone.
How far you’ve come.
